Affirming LGBTQIAF lives:
Bronntanas will offer to LGBTQIAF people – and to anyone questioning their own sexuality – access to trained and experienced psychotherapists who are affirming of their lives.
Bronntanas’s practitioners do not assume that clients seek psychotherapy only because of their sexual orientation or gender identity. Our practitioners recognise that people may be seeking support on any of a wide range of issues from a psychotherapist who is affirming and accepting of their sexuality and their life choices.
Making psychotherapy accessible:
We will seek contributions in cash and kind to make LGBTQI-affirmative psychotherapeutic services accessible and affordable in rural communities, both now and in the future.
Influencing GPs and other health practitioners:
We will actively build relationships with local mental health and GP services so that safe and effective referrals can be made.
Initiating research:
We will initiate qualitative research projects to identify new insights and learning for practitioners working therapeutically with this community.
